I finally got a chance to read First Pup, the story of how President Obama promised Sasha and Malia a dog, but had trouble finding one. Then Senator Kennedy found Bo at a farm in Texas in the same litter where he found his own Portuguese water dog.
Do you like the illustrations in First Pup? There are so many picture books about the first family (Remember when Z and I read Michelle by Deborah Hopkinson?) that I wonder if people are reading them, and if they are, do they like them.
