K: (Z had awaken her with the outburst from his room.) What?
Z: The ending's terrible, Mom.
K wants to open her eyes. Must read further she thinks. Must finish the book so we can talk, she says to herself while drifting off to sleep……

K gets up. She finishes the book. K & Z talk about it on the way to school.
Note: Dirty Little Secrets will be released in February. I got 2 review copies from VOYA, where my review (a review I haven't begun to write) of the book will eventually appear.
