A recent blurb in Reading Today suggests that we shouldn’t burn our books and other print resources yet. They are still valuable even if we do live in a technologically savvy world. It seems that researchers did a meta-analysis of 44 studies and found that print materials have several benefits:
• Improve children’s reading performance
• Help children learn the basics of reading
• Cause children to read more and for longer periods
• Produce improved attitudes toward reading and learning
